Triangle Fire Appreciation

November 18th, 2008 by Bronwen Aker, Site Admin

To all who answered the call to assist in our latest call-out I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude. Manning a post for hours, without relief, often seems like a thankless task for which there is little reward except the knowledge you made life a little better for some other person; the citizens of Orange County who are made safer and the full-time deputies who are now freed up to assist others as the demands for service escalate to nearly impossible levels in times of disaster.

I know what sacrifices you make, as your daily life is disrupted by these call-outs, but know that I am proud to work alongside each of you; proven dedicated and selfless individuals such that you are. Thank you once again.

Please shake out your boots before going anywhere.
