I felt guilty for taking so long to blog about the Explorer Banquet so here is the second blog for today. Explorers from Post # 449 joined Explorers from other Orange County Explorer Post in the first ever Explorer Dance hosted by the Laguna Beach Explorers in a venue near the Circle of Orange aka Old Town Orange aka “that place near Felix’s”. Surprisingly fun, those who didn’t attend missed out on free pizza, soda, a certain someone’s party foul, a chance to socialize out of uniform, and most importantly a chance to see advisors go back in time and get funky. But fear not! After checking my email last night, I found it packed with several emails from our Explorer Captain Mike Grijalva aka “Baby G”, telling me about how he is planning another dance for the Explorers, but only for the members of the Elite Team otherwise known as Post # 449. It will be at the exclusive Oakley HQ, more details coming soon… Dress to Impress.
